Vermont Candles That Will Keep you Warm this Autumn Season

October 03, 2022

As the nights get chillier, what’s better than snuggling up in a warm fleece blanket next to a flickering Autumn candle? Instead of buying mass-produced candles from a major home décor store, shop local with these Vermont small businesses. These Vermont candles are all hand poured and use toxin-free ingredients. Additionally, each features lovely scents that are sure to get you into the Fall season.

Tapered Candles by Golden Hill Candles

Founded in 2021, Golden Hill Candles are made from 100% beeswax. Not only does the beeswax give each candle a distinct yellow color, but they burn longer and cleaner than other waxes. Passionate about sustainability and their community, they source their wax locally from Northern Vermont beekeepers. To make each candle, candlemakers repeatedly hand dip cotton wicks in beeswax until the layers of wax reach the desired thickness. Golden Hill Candle also offers the cutest candles on this list – tiny tea lights in a walnut shell case.
